New Swedish app pays users for reporting parking violations

A newly launched app enables users to earn money by reporting improperly parked vehicles. Developed by the Swedish company Scout Park, this mobile application allows individuals to alert traffic wardens about cars parked in violation of regulations.

CEO Erik Englund explains, “Scout Park operates as a gig economy platform, offering opportunities for anyone aged 16 and above with a Swedish social security number to make money by assisting parking attendants in enforcing community parking rules.”

Using the app, users can upload photos of wrongly parked cars, triggering notifications to parking attendants for inspection. Successful reports resulting in fines generate compensation for the contributors.
